Terms and Conditions of Online Bidding

  1. All advertising is a GUIDE ONLY. Buyers must satisfy themselves to the condition, identity and authenticity prior to bidding on an item and shall not make objections after the sale.


  2. Read item description carefully. The owner or Auction Company try to list items as accurately as possible and are NOT responsible for errors in description or condition. You acknowledge that item information is obtained from sellers and you hereby agree to not hold Bodnarus Auctioneering and its employees for any errors or omissions regarding the item(s) being sold.


  3. All purchases are bought AS IS, WHERE IS. No warranties or guarantees are applicable to any purchases.


  4. A 5% online bidding premium will be applied to each lot purchased on the Internet with a cap of $500 per lot or a minimum charge of $25 per lot. Federal GST and corresponding Provincial Sales Tax will apply to all purchases where applicable.


  5. You acknowledge that you have the right and responsibility to inspect the item(s) yourself or to have a third party representative inspect the item(s) for you. That by bidding on an item you have agreed to accept that item in it’s present condition and with description provided whetheraccurate or not.


  6. When using our online auction services you are making firm commitments to purchase said item(s) and are entering into a legal and binding contract.


  7. You also acknowledge that the Internet may be an unreliable and error prone network and Bodnarus Auctioneering will not guarantee that bids placed online will always be transmitted to or received by the auctioneer in a timely fashion.


  8. The Auctioneer controls the bidding, and in case of a dispute the decision by the Auctioneer will be final.


  9. You agree that all sales are final. Upon your becoming the Purchase of an item, that item shall immediately become your responsibility and be at your risk (whether you have paid for that item or not). You agree that Bodnarus Auctioneering and its employees are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items and will not reimburse or discount items for any type of loss. Items must be removed within 3 days of the auction, unless further arrangements have been made. All items are left at your own risk and responsibility.


  10. Payment Methods – Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard), Debit, Cash, Certified Cheque, Bank Draft, Approved Personal Or Company Cheque. Bodnarus Auctioneering holds the right to hold purchases untill payment is cleared if prior arrangements haven't been made. Purchases become the sole responsibility of the purchaser immediately after bidding ceases.


  11. Items will not be released/ retrieved until full payment is received and clearance is given. No exceptions.
